ScenoLight Atelier – Architectural & Experience Lighting

BAC NINH BRIDGE

For this incredible bridge, we have started designing the lighting from the shadows we wanted to generate. The idea is to manipulate the light to create a sort of visual trick that will give the sensation of a spiral volume. We have been inspired by the photography art, and we started by generating a real 3D shape spiral to get realistic shadows. Then it was all about implementation of the light sources, direction and intensities on the real model to reproduce them. Inspired by the image of “Luong Long Trieu Nhat”, Phat Tich bridge appears with images of two dragons Yin and Yang, symbolizing Lac Long Quan and Au Co – the ancestors of ancient Vietnamese.
