The lighting design plays a crucial role in this project, from the outer courtyard to the cozy intimacy of the guest rooms. For this distinctive theme hotel, M Gallery by ACCOR, we’ve crafted a complete nighttime experience that begins as guests arrive from the main road, greeted by a breathtaking view from the babylonia-inspired facade and the main alley leading to the lobby, showcasing grand sculptures, water features, and majestic trees. Upon entering the lobby and reception, the ambiance is set with an atmosphere reminiscent of old-time oil lamp lighting, designed to transport guests into the hotel’s narrative.

Throughout the various areas, from restaurants to guest rooms, the theme is consistently maintained with a keen focus on blending technology seamlessly, featuring deep recessed lighting, diverse direct lighting effects, and light installations within decorations and artworks.

The resort also boasts a sprawling outdoor area with various themed gardens and water features, following a complex landscape design that avoids repetitive patterns or effects, aiming to evoke a sense of old-time charm without the use of technical planning. Another key focus is on preserving the night sky, as the resort is situated by the sea, allowing guests to enjoy the enchanting natural beauty of the night.

In terms of interior design, every lighting fixture has been meticulously chosen for each element and pathway, primarily creating a soft glow illumination in warm tones, with some areas featuring high light for water features and sculptures. We’ve also integrated occupancy sensors and tunable white lighting to offer guests a more immersive experience, allowing them to enjoy the ambiance without the need to manually adjust the lights.
