Designing a lighting scheme for a tropical-themed park with waterscapes and key landmarks involves creating a vibrant, immersive atmosphere that highlights the natural and architectural features while enhancing the overall visitor experience.
For the general Lighting we use warm lighting (yellow, orange, soft white) to evoke a tropical feel. Then we implement a mix of ambient, task, and accent lighting to create depth and dimension. We finally incorporate dynamic lighting elements, such as colour-changing and dimmers, to adjust the ambiance throughout the evening and create a sense of movement and excitement.
As this park is based on tropical theme, we focus our attention to highlight palm trees and large tropical plants. The interplay of light and shadow enhances the natural beauty of the foliage, as the waterfalls and fountains with underwater colour-changing lights adding a magical effect, reflecting off the moving water.
The other key Landmarks are illuminated with spotlights and projection with colour schemes that can be adjusted for special events or themes. This comprehensive lighting scheme creates a captivating, tropical atmosphere, highlighting the park’s natural beauty and architectural features while ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for visitors.
