To achieve this, we minimize power consumption and use only very warm color temperatures. We have also been working closely with architects to integrate all fixtures coherently, with strong attention to detail bespoke decorative lanterns which we handle the full detail design, to bring a unique and harmonious lighting atmosphere to this Japanese architectural style project. This lantern appears light and hung, despite being strongly designed and fixed to withstand the harsh mountain climate for long-term use.
Outdoor and façade lighting is mostly supplied by decorative lamps. This is why we decided to create a family of bespoke lanterns that would highlight the architecture and Japanese theme while also being durable and resistant to the harsh climate of this seacoast region. The lanterns are then constructed with strong structures and fixed brackets for attachment to the façade or ceilings. We installed an LED light source inside, which we carefully chosen to match our diffuse effect expectation and low color temperature.
