🌟Returning from the Urban Lighting workshop in Seoul, I was able to introduce a fresh perspective on urban lighting. This journey began with the aspiration to allow citizens to experience stargazing from the heart of our cities, leading to a profound reconsideration of our approach to lighting design and a transition towards nightscape approach.

This workshop presents an excellent chance to engage with Seoul’s Metropolitan Government and representatives from various Asian cities, to share and receive input on my research and innovative solutions for urban lighting. It is also a super fun experience around Light !!

My goal is also to enhance communication with my designer’s colleagues, especially since the concerns related to sustainability and light pollution that our profession faces today are indeed concerning, particularly in urban lighting, but where our level of involvement is surprisingly low.
